Well, the day has finally come for us to find out the sex of Poff Baby #2! We are definitely breaking a trend with this one, but the question remains ... which trend is being broken????
A. Is it the trend of everyone in our play group so far has had opposite sex second babies?
.... OR ....
B. Is it the trend that in Charlie's family, both Nana's have grandchildren of all the same sex, boys on one side, girls on the other?
Hmm, hmm, hmm ... the question to ponder.
Well, we could not be more excited to announce that we are in fact having a baby boy!! We are breaking the trend of both Nana's having all the same sex grandchildren, as so far, it is all little girls on this side.
His name will be Charles Jackson, and we are planning to call him "CJ". We set the date for our c-section for December 27th at 7:30am (still to be confirmed by the hospital, so possibly could change). He is very healthy, all vital organs look good, and is measuring right on track. We cannot wait until December now!!! Guess we will have to start decorating a nursery soon and getting some of this girly stuff out of the house so he does not feel overrun by Princesses! ;) Hayley is also excited about her baby brother (and about telling people about him!), and now she cannot wait to be a big sister!
