The last day of school was a very eventful one for Hayley, and the summer has not slowed down since! School let out for early release at noon and we headed to the Purple Cow for lunch with friends. The kids had a blast and us moms had a great time celebrating our new first graders!

After lunch, we went home for a rest, then went to a friend's house to swim. It turned into a sleepover here at the house, and what a great time it was.
Since the last day of school, we have not slowed down a bit. The summer has been filled with swimming, hanging out with friends and having lots of fun. She fills in the time that it is too hot to go outside with playing Mario Kart on the Wii, reading and doing computer games!
Hayley went for a week to Beaumont with Keena and Poppa, where she swam like a fish, visited with family and even spent a day at the beach. We have had family visits here as well.
Hayley and I also have season passes to Hawaiian Falls to attend throughout the summer with friends.
C.J. has been loving playing outside everyday, swimming, playing with some friends of his own and just enjoying summer!
He and I attended the first week of camp at the CDC where I worked and he went to camp. We have another week in July and one in August! Fun stuff!
We will be sure to have some more pictures soon. Things have kept us very busy!
