Hayley started first grade this week, and she LOVES her teacher. She is lucky enough to attend a very small neighborhood school, so she knows most all of the kids in her class from kindergarten last year. She also stayed with some of her best little girlfriends for this year! The first day was wonderful, and she was so big walking in! Here she is in front of the sign. (I will take this picture for as many years as she will allow me to!!!!)

Life in the Fast Lane ...
Busy, busy, busy!!! It's that time of year. Back to school, back to work for me, going crazy trying to get things done, getting back into a routine, hustling and bustling to get everyone ready and there on time!

And, here she is in her classroom with Ms. Tieken ....
On that same Monday, Keena and Poppa closed on their house in Providence Village. We are super excited to have them up closer to us and in the metroplex! They get to begin a new chapter of their "retirement" years and are getting all settled in. Here they are just after their final walk through on the new house with the two grandsons in tow ...
This week, C.J. and I also started back at his school/my work. He does not technically begin school until next Thursday, but we have been up there for my teacher trainings and setting up my classroom this week. He has enjoyed going to the childcare and playing with friends. He cannot wait for 'meet the teacher' next week to see the friends that will be in his class, then starting school on Thursday! There will be more pictures to come!
