Hayley's at Sky Ranch!

Yesterday, we embarked on a new journey. We took Hayley for the first time to a week long sleep over camp at Sky Ranch. It was not 100% easy on me to leave my precious cargo in the hands of others that are not family for a whole week!!! But, she is with a group of 4 other girlfriends from school, so they have each other to share this special experience with!

She was super excited to get all packed up in her adorable trunk that Aunt Kerri painted for her!

Here she is all packed and ready to go....

We painted up the van to get ready to caravan with the 5 other vehicles going, which was quite the sight!!!

Here are some pics of our handy work....

And, here's our caravan on the way. If you look around the curve to the left of the picture, all of these vehicles from the silver van back are our caravan! We were the last in a line of 6 vehicles!!

We arrived! It was a very beautiful campus, and this was the entrance as we drove in...

We drove by the lake and all of the fun activities they had there...

We were greeted by cheering counselors and staff all along the way. After parking, they took us and the luggage on these nice covered trailers to the cabins. Here's Hayley riding along!...

The girls make the final short hike to the cabin....

Hayley meeting one of her counselors who greeted us out front....

We went inside and found her bunk. She night have been a little disappointed, but Mommy was well relieved that she had a bottom bunk!!..

We made up her bed with her super cute sheets Aunt Kerri gave her as a going to camp present, and she was all ready to go!!!...

CJ liked the sheets too!...

The ride home was pretty quiet. I felt very comfortable leaving her there and she did not get upset at all. The counselors seemed great, and everyone was ready for a fun-filled week. CJ asked for Hayley all the way home and cried to go back so he could stay at Sky Ranch!

I will post any updates and pictures as I get them from the week!! I am sure she will have lots of stories to tell when she gets home!!!!
