All American Fun!!

Fourth of July = An All-American fun time at the lakehouse!!! We had a great time hanging out with family, fun on the lake, making snow cones, sidewalk chalk, grilling, fireworks and a few little surprises as well. I think the pictures tell it all!!!

When I asked Hayley how the new water toy was, she gave me a rather dramatic answer. All in all, I think she thought it was pretty cool!


We did go out on the lake in the boat once it got dark and watched a rather impressive showing of fireworks all around the lake. They were being set off from multiple docks all around, which made for a very fun, festive and entertaining atmosphere! It was a very fun-filled day.

As for the few surprises ...

We heard a dock collapse (later went and shot this picture)


And killed 3 copperhead snakes (and another one was killed the day before).

What a very interesting day!
