The past week or so has been such a blur for us! Vendor fairs, picture sessions, etc, etc .... but we are still here!
Mom and Dad have been up for about a week now, and will be here til the 22nd. They are getting 3 vendor fairs in during this time ... the small one at our school, Neath the Wreath by the Plano Junior League and the Chi Omega Holiday Market. It has been quite a whirlwind for them and us!
Hayley finished the fall soccer season, having her best game the last game of the season. She finally found "her calling" as she calls it - defense. It has been amazing to watch the girls that played in the spring and fall together to grow as a team and all start to find their little 'niche' in helping out the team. Some are very aggressive and like to score, while others would rather pass and field the ball, or the ones like Hayley that just want to keep it away from their goal. We had their end of season party last night and she was so excited to get another trophy! The winter indoor season will be starting very soon, and the girls are way excited about that as well!
C.J. is just a bouncing little boy, and is very rapidly approching his 2nd birthday in December. That means it is party time, so we are starting to plan a little something here at the house to celebrate. He keeps us busy, chuckling and smiling all the time. Oh what a joy! ;-0
I would have pics to post normally, but I have been taking lots of other family pics and have neglected my own family! That's ok though! I will try to get back on the ball as we will have lots of fun holiday festive things coming up very very soon!
In other news, it is holiday decorating time at our house!!!! My favorite time of the year! We start early with putting the lights up on the house and getting the yard ready because we have so many decorations to do. But, we don't turn them on until after Thanksgiving ... maybe! It depends on how excited we get! We do have the tree up in the living room and will be decorating it soon. And, the house will be cleaned thoroughly so all the little holiday cheer can make its way to every room of the house! Oh, how I love this time of the year!!!!!!!!!!!!!
