Just thought I would update everyone on my Dr's appt today. It was very good news! First off, Hayley went with me, and she really enjoyed hearing the baby's "tick tock". She told my OB that "her Dr listens to her tick tock too!". It was very cute.
The best news was that my Dr was very impressed with my health. To catch everyone up, in my first appts, there were problems in my bloodwork indicating malfunction in my kidneys and problems in my liver. My Dr told me a that time that it seems pregnancy puts a strain on my body and my kidney functions. This appt, everything looked great. My blood pressure was back down to normal, my bloodwork was perfect, and my swelling was much better. My OB was very optimistic about this pregnancy and the effects on my body.
We did discuss that we will schedule my c-section for no later than the last week of Dec. Looks like we will get our tax deduction for '07 after all! ;) We also scheduled the "big ultrasound" for August 16th. We cannot wait to find out the sex of the baby, hopefully, at the ultrasound!
Well, that is the update. I was very excited to finally have some good news at a Dr's visit during pregnancy!!! Hopefully it will continue this way!
