Harry Potter Mania!

Charlie's cousin, Jonathan, won a contest promoted by amazon.com to have the new Harry Potter book delivered to his doorstep at 12:01am on Saturday morning, as soon as the book was available. Along with this also came a box of Harry Potter merchandise from amazon.com, as well as some UPS merchandise.

Well, upon finding out about winning the contest, they realized that Jonathan would be at Moss Lake for our annual family reunion. So ..... they called and had UPS make the delivery to him out there, and of course, we all had to make a party out of it! It was a great time with about 20 of us all sitting out, waiting for UPS to bring the book and other goodies.

The UPS drivers were on their game. They arrived at the site at approximately 11:30pm, but could not deliver the book until 12:01am. So, we all sat out, told stories, did sparklers and fireworks and had lots of fun while passing the time. When 12:01am finally hit, Jonathan was presented his packages by the UPS drivers. It was a great time, and certainly something we will all remember. Here are a few pictures from the evening.
