Reunion 2007

Every year for the past 4 years, we have had a small family reunion with Charlie's family at our lakehouse at Moss Lake in Gainesville, TX. There ends up being about 19 of us, including adults and kids, so you know that there must be a lot of fun to be had!! We go boating, fishing, have water balloon and water gun wars, eat lots and share lots of stories.

Every year, we have a gift monogrammed by Charlie's mom. The first year, it was hats, then towels, bags and this year, chairs. They are always all laid out waiting for us upon arrival. Two years ago, we also introduced a very large candy cake for everyone to eat on for the weekend. Here is everything laid out before the destruction began!



Water balloon wars are always a big hit at our reunions. Unfortunately, with 7 kids old enough to participate as of yet, they get busted a lot faster than Charlie can fill them up. He still enjoys trying to keep up with filling them, though!



When all is said and done after the long weekend, we always top it off with family pictures. Here is the one of our little family this year ...



It is always a great and enjoyable weekend of family fellowship and fun. Who couldn't have a ton of fun and relaxation after a weekend away with wonderful weather and views of the lake, like this!
