Summer Fun

A week ago, we took Hayley to Beaumont to spend 2 weeks with Keena and Poppa. She is having lots of fun hanging out, watching movies, playing on the computer, swimming daily and keeping them busy. While we were there dropping her off, I snapped this cute pic of cousin Zac.


While Hayley has been gone, C.J. has enjoyed plenty of time with Mommy and Daddy. He attended his first wedding (Charlie's friend Andy got married on Friday ... congrats!). C.J. was quite the cutie pie in his little dress up clothes!



And, he has been playing outside a lot. He enjoys the sand, then a dip in the play pool to rinse him off! Here he is playing with some sand Hayley left out in buckets.



While we do miss Hayley, it has also been nice to spend some quality time with C.J. by himself. He is quite the handful and full of energy!

We did just have his 18 month check up ... cannot believe he is already 18 months! He has grown a little and gained a little weight, which was good to hear. His official measurements were 32.5 in (50%) and 23lbs. 12oz. (23%). He is developing well and is right on track with everything, so the Dr is happy!
